As Roteks Tekstil, we believe that protecting the environment is one of the most important factors for providing a sustainable life for the next generation.

For this reason, with Roteks Tekstil Environmental Policy, we adopt the principle of preventing the environmental impacts arising from all activities and services and minimizing those that cannot be prevented, in line with international and national legislation as well as the needs and expectations of its stakeholders and by following its strategic goals. Environmental protection is at the heart of the R&D activities carried out within our organization.

Roteks Tekstil aims to ensure that employees working within its own organization and in its supply chain make individual lifestyle and consumption choices that support sustainability in terms of environmental protection. The training, projects, and publications carried out for this purpose and to increase individual awareness of environmental protection are gathered under the name of "NatuRight". 

Our Environmental Policy is binding for all our employees and our entire supply chain, regardless of their position. 
Within the scope of relations with our supply chain, we obtain the commitments of our suppliers regarding their compliance with the Roteks Tekstil Environmental Policy, procedures related to this policy, and other relevant Roteks Tekstil Policies. We evaluate our supply chain in terms of environmental compliance, monitor the results of the evaluation with action plans, and support our suppliers for continuously improving the level of environmental compliance.

The principles we follow within the scope of this policy are as follows:

1. Actively pursuing national and international quality standards to reduce our environmental footprint and managing our operations in the light of these standards.
2. Adopting the discharge of potentially hazardous chemicals as a principle and maintaining a responsible production approach throughout the product life cycle, starting from the raw material selection.
3. Focusing on energy efficiency in line with the understanding of combating climate change and carrying out activities to reduce energy use and carbon emissions.
4. Preventing unnecessary consumption by using natural resources effectively, carrying out studies to reduce the amount of water used especially in production processes, supporting water recycling in the supply chain, and ensuring that wastewater from production is treated in accordance with legal requirements.
5. Recycling the wastes that can be recycled by separating them with a circular economy perspective and disposing of the ones that cannot be recycled appropriately.
6. Ensuring effective monitoring and supervision of performance criteria, particularly energy, emissions, water and waste, and carrying out the necessary audits for environmental impact performance. 
7. Carrying out the necessary work to raise awareness among our employees and all our stakeholders and creating environmental sustainability awareness among stakeholders in our value chain.
8. Sharing our environmental performance transparently with our stakeholders.
